![]() I would say, paying thousands of dollars for making full-polish version which would sell actually worse than version with possibility to have original english language (which is/will be ready and there is none reason to not include it in product selled in Poland) is not very smart bussness strategy.Related: Obi-Wan Kenobi's biggest problem highlights a wider issue for Star WarsĪside from a certain long-haired Jedi going full Ghost and appearing to Obi-Wan, the big talking point of the finale was the lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan and Vader.Īlthough it wasn't quite their fiery fight on Mustafar, this one was arguably more emotive as they duked it out on an abandoned planet. Somebody would tell, that selling seriously flawed product, in more or less the same price, in one "not-that-rich" country is discriminating players in Poland. Who would like to risk such things after spending 1/10 of her or his salary (not wage, salary) on game? You know, not-functional multiplayers, bans on Origin and stuff. I guess that there is no possibility to honestly buy version with language I want to play with without violating licence terms being citizen of Poland. ![]() You know, foreing retailer sells verions "US only" and so on. Star Wars and polish dubbing doesn't go along well - if somebody watched dubbed Prequel Trillogy will instantly got the point.Īnd, guys, english is lingua franca of modern world - almost everyone (almost everyone who uses computers, actualny) knows english well enough to play in this language and enjoy it.Īwh, well, I would like to pay 20 zlotys (6 dolars? 5 euro? more or less - not a big deal) more to get original, full value game. Until yesterday, my main problem was "from where get extra money to buy it" - now problem got a bit bigger, you know. I played Batllefront 2 beta, I loved this game - I loved whole experience, original, english voice-acting included. German version, for example, have all languages avaible - german, english, italian and french. I and many others are begging for this to change. Overall I feel robbed of a great game and I feel like I am being treated as an inferior to other countries. Screw it, I would drop in an extra £5 just for the english language if it is such a problem. Watching the trailers with an amazing voiceover for characters like Iden only, to screwed over with a polish dub is just plain silly. I cannot refund due to my method of purchase and I feel scammed not being able to experience the core of the singleplayer is just offending in its own right. I feel that I will am being prematurely negated from a full experience that I paid for and I would like this to change. Many of us really prefer to hear the original voice actors, because listening to crappy localization is breaking the experience for a player. While our neighbors have access to most, if not all languages including our localizations, we are locked to PL and RU localizations and we have no access to original, English voiceovers whatsoever. People in Poland and Russia have been treated by EA differently and our version of the game has been truncated. I it's a simple matter that can be easily resolved with few lines of code. ![]() I only hear the positives about the english dub and I hate polish dub IMO. ![]() Let me get this straight, I think that having a language lock is absurd.
